For the past 20 years, Skate Wild has sent groups of kids from underserved communities to Skateboard Camps. We believe that Skate Camps are one of the best places on earth, and that anyone can benefit from the experience of skateboarding in nature. It is always an unforgettable experience, not only for the kids involved, but for us as well. We would like to give a special thanks to the New Balance Foundation, Element Skateboards, Jollyboy and NHS Fun Factory for helping make this program a reality, and for their continued support throughout the years.

WILDERNESS PROGRAM.

 Skate Wild’s unique wilderness survival curriculum teaches youth to feel confident about how they relate to their natural surroundings. Every summer we hold intensive courses at YMCA Skate Camp where campers learn the basics of survival: shelter building, friction fire, spoon/ bowl making, archery, and much more.

GIVE BACK TRIPS.

Skate Wild give back trips are designed to support skateboarding at the community level where skateboarding is popular but access to skateboards is limited or non-existent. Skate Wild takes a select group of professional skaters on the road a couple of times a year, spending time with different communities along the way.  We travel off the beaten path to visit many low income communities and other areas that truly appreciate us stopping by.
